On Friday, President Goodluck Jonathan left Abuja for Germany on what the Presidency described as a “private visit.” However, the nature of the private visit was not disclosed, but the President would be back in the country early next week.
The statement simply read, “President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan will leave Abuja early Friday on a private visit to Germany.
“The President will be accompanied on the trip by some of his principal aides.
“He is expected back in Abuja early next week.”
Jonathan had in December last year embarked on a similar “private visit” to Germany. Many considered the trip to be on health grounds.
