Few weeks back, Ayo Fayose won the Ekiti state gubernatorial
election, but a lot of people believed that he was able to wear the winner cap
because he shared bags of rice to some members of the electorate. Right now, it
appears that sharing bags of rice has become the strongest strategy to win
election in Nigeria, as other politicians have joined the queue.
Politicians in Zamfara state have decided to copy this
winning strategy as part of their preparations for the 2015 elections.
As Ramadhan kicks-off, they shared bags of rice with their pictures and
expression “Dawo Dawo 2015″ which can be taken to mean “Return in 2015.″
