The 4th Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF), a
platform that seeks to give expression to African cinema by recognizing and
rewarding excellence in the industry, will hold its 4th edition between the 9th
and 16th of November 2014 in Tinapa, Calabar, Cross River State, Nigeria. Eligible
films must have been produced after January 1, 2013 and preference will be
given to films which are yet to be screened globally or in Africa. Categories
for entry include Feature, Short, Documentary and Animation, with monetary
award prizes ranging from $3000 – $6000. If you wish to have your film
considered for the 4th Africa International Film Festival, please include a DVD
copy of the film, plus a synopsis and/or press kit as soon as possible. You can
also send an online screener via dropbox to info@afriff.com. We also require you
to complete our entry submission form.
Deadline for receipt of entry submission forms and
screeners:
Short films (40 minutes or less) – 30 June 2014
Feature length films (more than 40 minutes) – 30 June 2014
Late entries will be allowed until July 24th 2014.
Please ensure you have read through our rules and
regulations before submitting a film for our consideration.
