It is no longer news that veteran actor Nkem Owoh, popularly called Osufia and his female counterpart Patience Ozokwor, otherwise known as Mama G were the very first few Nollywood practitioners who were so fortunate to grab MTN deal last year. Although the millions they made from the endorsement that witnessed one of the most popular MTN TV commercials were not disclosed, insider sources have revealed that the star film makers made just N1million each from the deal.

While Julia Blaise Blog (JBB) argued over the possibility of such business, the close pals of Mama G insisted that nobody ever heard such thing or believe it till the day they heard from the horses’ mouth. According to them, the news was revealed at a movie set in 2012. The veteran actress was said to be busy on movie set when the Telecommunication giant company called her mobile phone for invitation to shoot a TV commercial.

After answering the call, she was said to have become furious and accidentally voiced out her feelings. She allegedly stated that the company is giving her a lot of trouble over the meager pay of N1million. They claimed that Mama G immediately turned around and saw few people around but refused to make further comment concerning her endorsement with MTN.

Julia Blaise Blog was told that for the past months the generous mother of many Nollywood actresses have declined any effort made by her friends to know the actual fee she collected for the endorsement deal.
