President Bola Tinubu is in New York United States with six State governors, seven ministers, and some senior aides to attend the 78th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

The President is scheduled to hold a series of meetings on the sidelines of the event, where he will engage with top American CEOs.

Tinubu will be joined in these high-level discussions by Brad Smith, President of Microsoft; Nick Clegg, President of Global Affairs for Meta Technologies; the global CEO of General Electric; and the global CEO of Exxon Mobil Oil and Gas Company, among others.

Additionally, President Tinubu’s discussions with the global CEO of General Electric will be on investments in renewable energy sources for electricity generation.

The President is also expected to address the General Assembly on Tuesday.

This outing is the first at the UN General Assembly since the President assumed office in May.
