An Ilorin bound aircraft belonging to the Air
Peace has crash landed with scores of passenger and crew members on board.
The aircraft crash landed around 9.30am on
Friday morning upon landing in Ilorin from Abuja.
However, following the incident, the runway
of the Ilorin International Airport has been closed to traffic.
The Spokespersons, Accident Investigation
Bureau (AIB), Tunji Oketunbi and Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority of
Nigeria (NCAA), Sam Adurogboye, said they are not aware of the incident.
According to sources on the aircraft, the

It was gathered that with the impact of the
crash, the plane could not taxi, thereby causing the closure of the runway of
the airport to traffic.
