Federal Medical Centre, FMC, Yola has successfully separated a co-joined twins.

The babies were initially admitted at Federal Medical Centre, Bayelsa, but were flown to Yola by the Nigerian Air Force, where Professor Auwal Abubakar and his team performed the surgery .

The successful surgery makes it the third by the Prof Abubakar led team at FMC Yola.
