A former Super Falcons and Golden Eaglets assistant coach, Mudashiru Yusuf has died at the age of 68.

Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, announced his passing on its official Twitter page on Saturday night.

The cause of Yusuf's death was not mentioned to the public.

"We are sad to announce the passing of Coach Mudashiru Yusuf, who was at different times Assistant Coach of the Super Falcons and the Golden Eaglets. He was 68. May his soul rest in peace. Our prayers are with his family." The tweet said.
