The defendant, Idris Musa, has been sentenced to life imprisonment for the crimes of rape, attempted rape, and sexual assault of 3 minors (now aged 6,8 &12) who are his nieces.
Idris, the child rapist was sentenced and convicted on all the 9 counts leveled against him. Four of the counts carries the punishment of life imprisonment and the judge sentenced him accordingly.
For 3 other counts, the court sentenced him to 10 years imprisonment each.
For the remaining 2 counts, he was given a sentence of 5 years imprisonment each with hard labour. These sentences are to run concurrently.
Investigations reveal that Idris has been engaging in these illicit acts since 2016 until he was arrested.
