The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has disclosed
that the state government is now ready to decongest the Apapa gridlock.
Sanwo-Olu on Wednesday wrote on social media that they have
identified a trailer park that will take 6,000 trucks, a move that will help
decongestion of Apapa.
He further revealed that the construction of the park will
kick-off in earnest, as they are working with NPA and Nigerian Shipper’s
Council.
"On the decongestion of Apapa, we have identified a trailer
park that is going to take 6,000 trucks. The construction will start in
earnest.
We are also working with the NPA and the Nigerian Shipper's
Council for a long-lasting solution," he wrote on Twitter.
