The Onyedi family of Ukwakwa village, Azia in Ihiala local government area of Anambra state shares Walter Scot's sentiment as they announce in total submission to the will of God the transition to glory of their beloved brother, father and husband, Chief Bestman Obiefoka Clement Onyeadi (Onwa Azia).


Aged 70, the late Chief Onyedi was a devout Catholic, community leader and a philanthropist during his life time. He was the Chairman/CEO ,Best man Azia co Nig Ltd.

A dutiful husband to his wife and caring father to his children, Chief Onyedi was a peace lover.

He was one of the prominent sons of Azia who not only ensured that development got to the town but also contributed in no small measure in  ensuring that peace reigns supreme in Azia.

Though Onyedis are grief-stricken over their son's  passage, they said they are nonetheless consoled by the impactful and eventful live he lived.

A statement signed by the late Chief Onyedi's son, Dr. Kelechi Onyedi, indicates that Onwa Azia's funeral rites commenced  on Saturday, August 10th, 2019 with a social wake at NYSC Orientation Camp, Iyana Ipaja, Lagos.

Vigil mass in his honour however, holds on August 22 at 5pm at him compound, Ukwakwa, Azia while funeral mass holds the next day at St.Andrew's Catholic church, Azia.Time is 10.am.

This will be followed by internment at his compound.

Condolence visits continue on Saturday, August 24th while outing mass comes up on Sunday, August 25 at St.Andrew Catholic church, Azia.Time 9am.
