The EU Summit in the Malta capital city of Valletta, was called to address the Immigration Crisis involving Tens of Thousands of African migrants crossing from Northern Libya to Southern Europe in search of a better life.


Led by the leaders of the economic bocks biggest nations - Germany, France and the UK, the aim is to find a 'humane and practical' solution to this politically charged subject and growing economic burden on the regions countries.


To better understand and share with the world what the solution approach and possible implementation process would be ahead of the start of the summit, Zuriel Oduwole sat down with the President of Malta, Her Excellency Marie Louise Preca to learn first hand the way forward, on this very sensitive issue.
