During a family squabble, a 92-year-old man shot and killed his wife with a shotgun. The alleged killer was taken into custody after gunning down his spouse, who was 20 years his junior, at around 7pm last night.


The identities of the husband and wife have yet to be released. Detectives believe the man grabbed his gun and shot at his 72-year-old wife after the argument broke out.

She was pronounced dead at the scene. The man was taken into custody and the shotgun was retrieved by police.

A homicide investigation has been opened by the LAPD, the Los Angeles Times reported.
