Veteran Nollywood
practitioners, Richard Mofe-Damijo and Victoria Inyama evidently remembered
back in the days, when they worked together with experienced person thespian,
Sola Sobowale, as they took time to celebrate her on their Instagram pages on
Monday when she turned a year older.
"Sister, Friend,
Colleague. This journey started over 26 years ago when as young angry thespians
we had big dreams about changing the narrative in this business. NTA was all we
had, It was channel 10 vs Network programmes and Tade Ogidan was our rallying point.
Today I look at you and I am proud that you held on and stayed the course. My
Tin-Tin, Toyin Tomato, The only woman that got me to do a yoruba film. I am
happy to call you friend @solasobowale.
"You are unarguably one of the very best in what you do. Happy birthday My Diamond Ring iyawo, may grace never depart from you and may God's blessings crown your every step today and always in Jesus name, Amen," RMD said.
While Victoria Inyama stated, "Happy Happy Birthday
my ever Radiant Queen Aunty Shola . I celebrate you today and always. You are
always yourself. A good woman. A blessed woman. Tank you for your advices and
friendship. What a privilege I have knowing you. God bless you ma today and
Always."
