The police have arrested a suspected killer of a commercial
sex worker at Utako village. The suspect, identified as, Joseph Odoh, according
to police, was arrested on Wednesday last week at Mabushi after some days of
intensive investigation into the gruesome murder of the call girl penultimate
week.
The suspect, who was a security guard with a security firm
in Utako, allegedly hacked his victim to death with a knife in her room
following an argument over payment for her services.

Omolori, who confirmed the arrest, said the suspect had been transferred to FCT
CID for further investigation.
He was traced through a mobile phone SIM card in the pocket
of his trousers which he left at the scene of the crime.
“He fled the scene of the incident leaving his trousers with a mobile SIM card in its pocket. He was traced through that SIM card and was arrested last week Wednesday by the police at Mabushi,’’ the source said.
He added that the suspect was first handed over to Utako police division before he was transferred to the FCT Crime Investigation Department (CID) on Thursday for further investigation.
