A young man suspected to be an undergraduate of Imo State University was on Tuesday murdered by gunmen, alleged to be cultists.


According to eyewitnesses, the unidentified student was killed around 3:45pm by a group of cultists from Imo State University, IMSU, Owerri.

"He was drinking with friends at Orange Groove Spot, when the unknown gunmen stormed the place, asked him to pull off his clothes and he was shot on the forehead."

The Police arrived the scene after the incident has occurred.
