After months of intensive preparations and brainstorming sessions, all is now
set for the second edition of the annual Bowler Hats Bash (BHB), which holds tomorrow, Saturday,
October 1 (Independence Day), at the prestigious Coliseum Events Centre,
Opebi, Ikeja, Lagos.
Interestingly, South African-born Hip hop star, Kalifonia
and Ghana based dance hall star, JKL4Real, are already in Nigeria to thrill and
entertain guests at the anticipated evening of fun-filled comedy, music, dance
and more.
The high-net-worth night of networking, relaxation and
jollification, which begins with a green and white carpet at 4.P.M, will be
anchored by top entertainer and Nollywood super star, Segun Arinze.
Amazingly, top Nigerian comedians expected to wow and dazzle
high profile guests at the forthcoming memorable night of glitz, glamour and
grandeur include: Okey Bakassi, Elenu, Dauda, Elder O. Mr. Patrick, Makati,
Ajebo, D’Lectura, Danni B, Moran Cee, Omini among other wave making ribs
crackers.
Amazingly, Reggae legend, Orits Williki, will be performing
live as the Special Guest Artiste at the premium concert, which is currently
serenading Lagos and its environs.
Also coming from the East with mature highlife is Ugo
Stevenson, the Ndaa Chineke crooner.
He will be ably assisted by rave Afro-pop sensation, Kesh
Ofuobi.
According to a statement issued today by the
Publisher/Editor-in-Chief of Daylight.ng, the reliable online newspaper, Mr.
Azuh Amatus (NGE), who is also the Founder and Prime Mover of Bowler Hats Bash,
several top Nigerian and foreign entertainers, have been carefully selected to
thrill guests at the special Independence Day bash.
"Our loaded list of top entertainers drawn from within and
outside Nigeria will wow invited guests endlessly with rib cracking jokes, good
music, electrifying dance steps and more. With all sense of modesty, BHB 2016
is unarguably the biggest event happening in Lagos this October 1. It is
definitely going to be a memorable and unforgettable evening of fun, enjoyment
and premium entertainment," hinted Azuh.
Meanwhile, sensational dance groups, Nero Sexy Dancers and
Scatter and Sons, will be storming this year’s Bowler Hats Bash with their full
squads, to further raise the roof of the venue with pulsating dance steps and
moves.
While award winning Heritage Band will be live on stage
dishing out melodious tunes, wave-making DJ Kelvinator, has vowed to add verve
and vim to the grand gathering by electrifying guests with hit and trending
songs from his wheel of steel.
On the dress code for the spectacular soiree, Azuh, a
multiple-award winning journalist, appealed and implored all those attending
the event, to wear any colour of hat, adding that: “It’s strictly a hat affair.
Therefore, without a hat on your head, you won’t be allowed into the venue.”
