On Monday, Senate President, Bukola Saraki visited an IDPs
Camp in Borno State and cuddled the baby, who was brought malnourished and
sickly to the camp by her parent two months ago. According to him, the baby and
her parents are doing well due to the efforts of the State Government at that
IDP Camp.
"It is my hope that once the North East Development
Commission (NEDC) - which has gone through its Third and Final Reading in the
Senate - is passed and signed into law, it will help to create a sustainable
future for our younger generation," he said.
