The league’s bottom club were travelling from their Lagos
base to Makurdi, Benue State for NPFL Match Day 22 fixture with Lobi Stars
billed for Sunday, June 19, 2016.
The club in a tweet via its Twitter handle, @FCIkoroduunited said:
“Ikorodu United bus was involved in an accident on their way to Makurdi at
about 4pm today. We give glory to God for His Mercy in our lives. The players
sustained minor injuries.
“The players sustained minor injuries. None of Ikorodu
United players died but sustained minor injuries. It is an 18 seater
