The Senate has confirmed that President Muhammadu Buhari has not sent or delivered any list of Ministerial nominees to them.  Senate President Bukola Saraki made no mention of the list when he read out the day's agenda.

The opposition's Godswill Akpabio raised a point of order, questioning why there was no list. The governing party's Bala Ibn Na'allah told him that 30 September - the deadline Mr Buhari had set to unveil his cabinet - ends at midnight, BBC reports.

Nigerians have been waiting anxiously for Mr Buhari to announce the cabinet, some four months after he became president. The Senate has to approve the appointments before ministers take office.
