Actress, Rahama Sadau has been forgiven by Kano state
censorship board, over her indecent appearance in a musical video that led
to her ban from Kannywood by the Motion Pictures Practitioners Association
of Nigeria (MOPPAN) in October 2016.
Alhaji Isma'ila Na'abba
Afakalla, the executive secretary of the board, said it resolved to forgive the actress in view of her
unreserved apology to the people of Kano state whose sensibilities she had
abused by featuring in an amorous video.
"In our capacity as censorship board we have forgiven her unconditionally because to err is human; considering the apology she made on air to the people of Kano state whose sensibilities she abused, even now we are ready to entertain her films," he said.
