The governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose has made a joke of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), after the agency released his Commissioner for Finance, Chief Toyin Ojo and Accountant General, Mrs. Yemisi Owolabi.

The controversial governor took to social media to announce that he has no thanks to the commission for releasing his workers, who they arrested for no just reason.

"Those in @officialEFCC should bury their heads in shame. No thanks for releasing my commissioner & AG that they arrested  illegally." He tweeted.

The duo reportedly regained their freedom yesterday, after a court allegedly denied an application brought by the commission on their matter.

Chief Toyin Ojo and Mrs. Yemisi Owolabi were arrested on September 28th on allegations that they ignored earlier invitations to answer questions on mishandling of Paris Club refunds received by the state.
