Femi Fani Kayode has said that leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has this afternoon confirmed to him that soldiers are still in his community, and firing shots into buildings and on the air.

"I just spoke to Nnamdi Kanu, his lawyer and his sister. What is going on right now is unbelievable and unacceptable. His entire community has been terrorised and traumatised for the 2nd day running by soldiers who are firing shots into the buildings and in the air.

"I call on Muhammadu Buhari to call his army to order before innocent people are killed. Soldiers are meant to protect our citizens and not attack them!" he tweeted.
