Popular South African music star Mixon Tholo, popularly known as Tsekeleke has died. He died last night in hospital.


A close friend of the Kwaito musician, Max Mjamba, told the local Times Live news site that he begged for his life to end after doctors were forced to amputate parts of his body because of debilitating diabetes.

"He was crying and screaming like a baby. There was nothing more to cut," Mr Mjamba was quoted as saying.
Kwaito is a South African genre of music which emerged in the 1990s, it is a unique dance and house style often likened to US hip-hop.
