Pop singer, Kcee has announce the birth of their new brain child, the Five Star Foundation. He said in a statement posted on his Instagram page.

"We are pleased to announce launch of THE FIVE STAR FOUNDATION .

Over the last few years, as individuals and as a record label, we have tried to provide assistance to numerous people as much as possible. Not because we have so much to give, but because of our core belief that the human experience should be more than what is obtainable to a large number of Nigerians, who are citizens of a great country with phenomenal potentials in both human and mineral resources yet unable to meet basic needs of life. This should not be the status-quo.

Looking back at our very humble beginnings and our journey so far also added to the quest of seeking a more sustainable platform to provide assistance to as many people in dire need.

With increasing demand for assistance in areas of fundamental human existence elements such as Food, shelter, Healthcare , Education, we decided to submerge ourselves further into the service of others with the sole aim of contributing our quota to making our communities and nation a better place for her citizens.

As we wrap up plans to drop Kcee's 2nd studio album as a solo artiste Titled 'Attention To Detail' on August 24, 2017, we are pleased to announce that proceeds will also be imputed towards achieving some of the foundations" goals such as creating and implementing advocacy programmes, raising awareness on topical issues and executing projects in line with essential services in our communities that fall on and below the poverty line. The FiveStar foundation is solely for the masses and anyone in need as approved by our team of professional experienced resource fellows.

We hope that the impact of the foundations" programmes will effect REAL CHANGE that will be a catalyst for the New Nigeria we can all be proud of and that friends, well wishers, government and non-government agencies will lend their support to equip us adequately towards creating even more impact together in years to come." the statement said.
