HIS NAME IS DOTUN AND HE IS A MUSLIM!!!

This morning I asked you guys a question about Christianity and Islam and this was why I asked.

Yesterday evening I got home to discover that my IPhone 5 was missing and I couldn't place a finger to where it was actually I misplaced it at.

I started calling the number, I called and called and called and no one was picking, so, I decided to call everyone I had contact with that yesterday and no one had an idea where the phone was or who took the phone.

So, I decided to take things the way they are, believing that since I have another IPhone, a newer version of the one that got missing and again, the fact that my numbers are all saved on the newer phone, I moved on as I woke this morning.

Now, at about 10:15am when I was washing my car outside the house, I got a call from someone who asked me to call him back and immediately I did, the guy told me he saw missed calls from my MTN line and wanted to know who I was, because according to him, as he couldn't operate the phone, he removed the sim, put it in his own phone to enable him pick calls to trace who the owner of the phone was.

So, I called back, told him how my phone went missing and he asked me to come collect it from him.

Infact, I was SHOCKED.

He told me that as he was heading to the MOSQUE this early morning for the days fasting, he saw the phone facing down, dirty and trampled upon, he picked the phone, removed the jacket, cleaned it up and decided to reach whoever the owner is.

When I got to the place later this evening, called him and he brought my phone and handed it over to me.

I gave this young man who is a student of Yaba College of Technology, Building Technology Department some money in appreciation of what he did and he vehemently refused to accept and all my pleas fell on deaf ears.

He is a Muslim and on fasting.

So I ask again as a Christian that I am, HOW MANY CHRISTIANS WOULD PICK AN IPHONE 5 AND RETURN THE PHONE TO THE OWNER WITHOUT COLLECTING ANY FORM OF APPRECIATION IN RETURN??

An iPhone 5 at this time??

I mean, this is Dotun, the young man who saw my phone, picked it and returned it to me in this our LAGOS.

He is A ROLE MODEL of what integrity and dignity should be amongst young people like us.
