Mark Zuckerberg famously founded Facebook in his Harvard dormitory room in 2004. Exactly 13 years late, with billions of users and tens of billions of dollars, the 33-year-old has returned to the place it all began.

The Facebook CEO returned to his Kirkland dorm, Cambridge, on Tuesday, after being invited to give the commencement speech at the prestigious school later this week. He will also finally graduate - more than a decade after dropping out to focus on the social media site.

Zuckerberg, and his wife Priscilla Chan, filmed themselves touring the old rooms, and reminiscing about their time at university.

'It's fun visiting Kirkland age 33, again,' he said on the Facebook Live video. 'It's my first time being back here since I left 13 years ago. This has been a place where a lot of really special things happened in my life,' he said referring to his dorm room, 'I'm really grateful.'
