One of the Chibok girls held by the Islamist militant group Boko Haram has managed to escape, presidential advisor Femi Adesina has said. She is believed to have been found by troops.

Acting President Yemi Osinbajo announced the news during the weekly cabinet meeting today, Mr Adesina said. He said details of her identity and her condition were not yet known.

Recall that Boko Haram freed over 80 of the Chibok girls, who were kidnapped in April 2014.
