Rick Ross pays $10k fine for 'pistol-whipping' his groundskeeper for having party at his $7.5m mansion

Rick Ross taken a plea deal in an assault and kidnapping case after he allegedly pistol-whipped his groundskeeper for having a party at his $7.5million mansion.

The rapper was seen celebrating on Snapchat as he had his ankle GPS monitor taken off after agreeing to a plea deal in a case stemming back to 2015 on Tuesday.

The whole case was brought about after a groundskeeper who lived on Ross' $7.5million Fayette County, Georgia, property allegedly held a birthday party without his permission, leading Ross to reportedly hold the employee in a guesthouse and pistol-whip him.

The hip-hop mogul had the charges of kidnapping, aggravated battery and other charges dropped when he pleaded no consent to one felony count of aggravated assault.

The judge has now ordered him to pay $10,000 in fines but after being sentenced as a first time felony offender, the conviction will be erased once the money is paid, TMZ reported.

The founder of the Maybach Music Group is also free to travel.

Ross didn't get off scotch-free though, he pled no consent to five misdemeanors and was given 60 months of probation, according to TMZ.
The 41-year-old had also spent one week at the Fayette County jail and was released after he coughed out over $2million in bail, in July of 2015.

His bodyguard, Nadrian Lateef James, also faced the same charges as Ross and received five years probation, just like his boss.
