A plane on Monday crashed into two homes and sparked a huge
fire, killing at least four people in Riverside, Southern California.
It appears that two adults and three teenagers were on the
plane, Riverside fire Captain Tyler Reynolds said. Rescuers have only spoken to
one surviving passenger so far - a teenager who was being treated as critical
even though she had only minor injuries.
Rescuers have been unable to determine whether the victims
were on the aircraft or from one of the residences affected by the crash, Daily
Mail reports.
The passengers, which comprised two other teenagers as well
as a husband and his wife, appeared to be a family from San Jose traveling for
a cheerleading competition in Disneyland.
Other victims are scattered throughout the wreckage and fire
officials have so far been unable to determine if they were from one of the
houses or from the aircraft.
At least one person was inside the two houses that were
completely destroyed in the crash. That person was taken to the hospital and
was in surgery as of Monday nig
