Office of the President, Muhammadu Buhari has denied that the Chiarman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibrahim Magun has been removed from office. The spokesperson to the president, Garba Shehu in tweets said the information is speculative and preemptive.

"We are reading reports that the EFCC Chairman, Ibrahim Magu has been sacked.

No report has been made available to the Presidency by the Attorney General of the federation over the matter. The report of his sack is therefore speculative and preemptive," he said.
