Ooni of Ife, Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II, has unveiled the 42 feet tall Moremi Ajasoro, the spiritual torch of liberty at the statue ground of Moremi Ajasoro the goddess of liberty today. The statue is the tallest Nigeria, the 3rd tallest in Africa and 7th tallest in the world today.  The statue was constructed right on the spot where Moremi lived centuries ago located behind the palace of the Ooni. (Ita Akogun in ife).The statue will be open for viewing for all and grand finale of the statue unveiling will take place on the 25th of November at 5pm.
