Jailed South African former paralympian, Oscar Pistorius has
been moved to a new prison with better facilities fitting for disabled people.
The gold medalist, who is serving a six-year prison sentence
in Kgosi Mampuru II prison, for the murder of his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp
in 2013, has been transferred to the Atteridgeville Correctional Centre.
The Department of Correctional Services said the
Atteridgeville prison houses offenders serving up to six years and has
rehabilitation and development programmes for inmates.
