A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has granted spokesperson for the Goodluck Jonathan campaign organisation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode bail in the sum of N50m.


Fani-Kayode was arraigned before Justice James Tsoho on Thursday by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on a five-count charge of money laundering to the tune of N26m, The Cable reports.

While delivering his judgment, Tsoho granted the bail request of Fani-Kayode’s lawyer, Afedayo Adedipe (SAN), stating that the offence was bailable.

The judge fixed December 14, for the commencement of trial.
