A 15-year-old girl, Natalie Natvidad, who was in eight grade
at Hebbronville Junior High School, Texas has committed suicide over school and
online bullying. She took her own life on
Friday when she took a fatal overdose of pills, officials said.
The teen was bullied at school and on social media, and at
one point her mother even pulled her out of school to protect her from the
bullying, KIII-TV reported.
Her brother told the station that his sister had also cried
to the school counselor about how she was being treated.
On social media, Natalie allegedly suffered from cyber abuse
on an app called After School, described as a 'new outlet for teens' on
its website.
'They've always bullied her a lot around school,' her
brother told the station, adding bullies on the app told Natalie she was 'ugly'
and that 'she should kill herself.'

This is sad.
ReplyDeleteBut she's not ugly
ReplyDeleteLet's teach our children to always believe I'm themselves. You are not ugly because someone said you are. Find out if you are truly what someone said you are or if the person is bullying you...
ReplyDeleteWhat a pity.
