practitioners are lending their voices to support women, who were at the
weekend considered to be inferior when President Muhammadu Buhari stated that
his wife, Aisha Buhari ‘belong to his kitchen’. Actresses, Uche Jombo, Chioma
Chukwuka-Akpota, Omoni Oboli, who starred in the movie entitled, ‘Wives on
Strike’ took to Instagram to lend their voices, saying that 'they know where they
belong' but not in the kitchen.
Uche Jombo said, "I
believe in the advancement of women. And we have so far to go still....Do your
best not to take us years back..... I'm a woman Homemaker wife mother A working
Actor/FilmMaker A business owner An employer of labour #whereIbelong Madam12:30

alluding to Psalms said, "10 [a]A wife of noble character who can find? She is
worth far more than rubies.
11 Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value.

26 She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue.
27 She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness.
28 Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her:
29 “Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.” Everyday my feet hits the floor, I am reminded of the proverbs 31 woman. I strive , I push , I persevere ..... I desire to be like her .
My mother was a living example of the proverbs 31 woman. Holding the home front down whilst working the field! She worked really hard.
