A transformer cable thief managed to escape with his life at the State School of Nursing, Maiduguri, Borno State. He survived an electrocution that gave him severe burnt, when his attempt to remove cable from a transformer failed on early hours of Saturday. He was arrested and taken to hospital for treatment.
