Officers of Department of State Security (DSS) on early hours of Saturday, October 8, allegedly broke into the home of Federal Judge, Nnamdi Dimgba, where they beat up his brother before realizing that they were to arrest a different judge, as stated in their search warrant.

While the scuffle continued, the officers were accosted by Rivers State Police Commissioner, Mr. Francis Odesanya, and others allegedly mobilised by Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike to stop what has been tagged 'an abduction'.

"What has happened this night is unfortunate. Even in military government it has never happened like this , you listen to people. This is why we are here. I said not under my watch will I allow this type of activity take place.

"The DSS, Police they cocked their guns and said they will shoot me. And I told them I have never heard this type of thing happen before. Again this is to show that more of this will come," governor Wike said.
