US Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump has invited President Barack Obama’s half-brother as a guest to his third and final debate with Hilary Clinton to take place this evening in Las Vegas.

Malik Obama, a Muslim, who has both Kenyan and US citizenship, told the New York Post that he was "excited to be at the debate" and believed that "Trump can make America great again".

In July, he said he would vote for the controversial Republican, saying President Obama had not done much for the American people or his extended family in Kenya, despite high expectations when he took office.

The president's half-brother is also an aspiring politician in Kenya, running for office in 2013, but failing in his bid to become governor of Siaya county.
