Three persons were arrested by soldiers of the 144 Battalion, Asa, Ukwa West council area of Abia State, over the attempted kidnap of a 3-year- old baby at Abayi Umuokoroato community, Obingwa council area.


Chimeremeze Nwauzo, Chinatu Nwauzo and Chinedu Appolos were said to have been nabbed following a tip-off after they allegedly attempted to abduct one Glory Ndubuisi, aged 3 and demand ransom from her parents.

Soldiers are still after other members of the syndicate, who are at large.
