Solar Eclipse spotted at parts of Lagos (Photos)

Going by the information gathered from eyewitnesses, partial eclipse of the sun have been spotted in Ojodu-Berger and Abule-Egba areas of Lagos State.

  1. I doubt the eclipse happened. I was out by 5am tracking and analysing the weather condition and at exactly 7am, my focus were towards the sky till 8:40 where it was said the annular(ring of fire) eclipse would occur. The partial was to appear at 7:15 while an improvement should occur at 8:23am. This didn't occur as the pics above just showed the sun rising from the east latitude accompanied with a cloudy weather showing the signs of rain; and it did rain around 9:46am. The pics above were nothing suggesting any sign of eclipse as I also had some pictorial view and vids of the sun when it arose expecting to find the eclipse but this was exactly what I got
