The Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump was chastised by a Flint, Michigan pastor about politicizing his visit to her church on Wednesday.

Addressing a crowd of about 70 African-American voters at the Bethel United Methodist Church, Trump attempted to tie-in Flint's economic decline to trade deals supported by Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and former President Bill Clinton.

In a video posted on YouTube, Rev. Faith Green Timmons is seen walking onstage and interrupting Trump.

"Mr. Trump, I invited you here to thank us for what we've done in Flint, not to give a political speech," she said.

"Oh, oh, oh, OK, that's good," Trump replied. "Then I'm going back on Flint."

Trump didn't go into detail on specific policies he would pursue to improve Flint's water quality.

"I can only say in the strongest of terms that we can fix this problem. It's going to take time, it's amazing the damage that's been done. But we'll get it fixed and… it will be fixed quickly, if I'm elected, and effectively and Flint will come back. Most importantly, we'll bring jobs back to Flint." Trump said.
