Usain Bolt has won a gold medal for the third time in the 100-meter men's race on the track at Olympic Stadium in Rio de Janeiro on Sunday night. 


The Jamaican runner who had previously won the gold in this same event in 2008 and 2012. Bolt, 29, is also the current world-record holder for this race.

He finished the race in 9.81, enough to take the gold. Gatin was just .08 seconds behind, and won the silver. Canadian Andre De Grasse took the bronze with a time of 9.91.
