On Thursday, the GOP presidential nominee, Donald Trump expressed regret over saying "the wrong thing." Although Trump didn't specify which comment he was referring to, his remarks were the closest thing he's come to an apology; something he "never likes" to do.


"Sometimes in the heat of debate and speaking on a multitude of issues, you don't choose the right words or you say the wrong thing," Trump reportedly said. "I have done that. And believe it or not, I regret it. And I do regret it, particularly where it may have cause personal pain. Too much is at stake for us to be consumed with these issues."



In addition to his remorse, Trump also promised his supporters that he would always be honest with them, CNN reports.
