The Delta State police has clampdown on 3-man car snatching gang while dismantling a Toyota Corolla car in Agbaroh, Ughelli North Local Government Area of the state. The police said it acted on a tip-off and caught the suspects, one Bamidela, Olabode, Ukpebor Obinna and Israel Felix were arrested.


In a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Superintendent of Police (SP) Celestina Kalu, the Commands image maker said, “while acting on a tip off detectives attached to Agbarho Division stormed a bush at Ewhere-Agbarho and arrested one Bamidele Olabode ‘m’, aged 37yrs of No. 20 Aba road Oyigbo Rivers State, Ukpebor Obinna ‘m’, aged 30yrs of Medical store road Benin City and one Israel Felix ‘m’, aged 28yrs of No. 29 2nd Baptist road Agbarho while they were dismantling the ignition of a Toyota Corolla car”.

Items recovered from them included one Toyota Corolla car Reg. No. (Lagos). MP 912 KJA, Eng. No. Nil and Chassis No. 2TIBR325730157709, one Sienna Toyota car Reg. No. (Lagos) AKD992RR Eng. No. IM27096706. Chassis No. 4T32F19CXiu330699 and one master key, assuring that the suspects are under investigation.

Meanwhile, one Bienonwn Raymond has been reported missing as the victim left home at Sakpoba road Alihame on Sunday 10th 2016, at about 1100hrs to an unknown destination and has not been seen since then.

The said Bienounwu Raymond is aged 15yrs, fair in complexion, speaks English and Ika Languages fluently,  and four ft. tall.

The police said any person with useful information about the where about of the victim should contact the Nigeria Police, Agbor Division in Delta State or the nearest Police station.
