An eight-year-old boy, Yassin Boudriss has died after being found floating in a three-foot-deep amusement park pool on Saturday. Yassin Boudriss, a Lebanese died hours after being found unresponsive in the Crystal Pool at Knoebels Amusement Resort in central Pennsylvania at around 3pm.


It is not known who the boy was at the park with, whether he was visiting from Lebanon or had emigrated to America. 

A spokesman for the park said: 'Today, at approximately 3:00 p.m., a young boy was found to be unresponsive in Knoebels' Crystal Pool. 

'Emergency care was immediately administered by Knoebels' lifeguards and first aid team until he was transported by ambulance to Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

'The Knoebel family and team members had been hoping and praying for the best possible outcome, but are saddened to have learned from local authorities that the boy has passed away.

'Please join us in keeping the boy's family in your prayers.'
