The NBA finals held President, Barack Obama four hours abroad Air Force One, flying back from California. The remained inside to watch the final minutes of the dramatic game.


The has flown back from Yosemite National Park in California after a weekend getaway with his wife Michelle and their daughters Malia and Sasha, but waited inside Air Force One for 18 extra minutes before returning to the White House with his family and only departed the plane after the game had ended, CBS News correspondent Mark Knoller reported on Twitter.

The White House later confirmed that the President had stayed inside for ten minutes after the four-hour flight.

Subsequently, he took to Twitter to congratulate to LeBron James.


'What a game and what a series for the @Cavs. Happy to see @KingJames bring it home for Cleveland!' the President wrote.
