The Nigerian Entertainment Industry Health Insurance Scheme (NEIHIS) says the death of prolific producer; OJB Jezreel is an unfortunate loss to the entertainment industry and the entire country.

Reacting to the sad development in a press release made available in Lagos, NEIHIS says the late producer cum singer fought the good fight of life. Against all odds, he was very optimistic and remained focused till he breathed his last.

One of the coordinators of the scheme, Mr. Seun Apara said the news of OJB’s death was received with a rude shock. “OJB was a fantastic and very positive individual. I remember when we started this movement to have a customized health insurance scheme for the entertainment industry, he was one of the first set of people to believe and support the project. In fact, he was part of our first meeting with the Lagos State Ministry of Health and was also one of the panelists at the inaugural Convention. This is a huge loss to all of us and our prayers so far has been that God will grant the family the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss”.

As regards the state of the scheme, Apara said work is in progress and many developments that have been kept under wraps will be announced in due time.
