The 26-year-old - who is known for reaching out to fans to show her appreciation - is noted for giving $50,000 earlier this year to a young girl whose treatment for an aggressive form of leukemia meant she couldn't make it to Swift's concert. She has also donated $50,000 to the Seattle Symphony and $50,000 to her backup dancer’s baby nephew who is fighting cancer.

Coming in at second place is Miley Cyrus, who launched an organization to help homeless and LGBTQ youths called Happy Hippie Foundation.


Taking third and fourth place is Beyonce and Angelina Jolie Pitt respectively who made the list for their ongoing efforts in helping those less fortunate.

According to tax records, Angelina and husband Brad Pitt donated more than $8 million to charity in 2006 alone.

Making the list for the first time in 2015 is comedian Amy Schumer and reality star Caitlyn Jenner.
