Caitlyn Jenner has legally officially changed her name and gender. A California judge on Friday approved Cait’s name and gender change. She will now be granted a new birth certificate that shows her official name and sex change from Bruce Jenner to Caitlyn Jenner.


According to the document, Caitlyn requested her name be changed from William Bruce Jenner to Caitlyn Marie Jenner.


She listed the reason for her name change as "to better match my identity" and signed the documents Bruce Jenner.
